Is the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska Auditioning to be on the Apprentice?

wallsscowl04

Something is wrong with the turnover in the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska. Some very big positions keep becoming vacant. Ponca members and non-Ponca members alike are affected by the tyrannical rule that this tribe is currently under. The reputation currently building about working for the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska will hurt future generations, too. Someone must remind this current tribal council of how their actions have consequences. We, the people, are long overdue for explanations. The things done behind closed doors must be shameful if they cannot be done in the open.

Employees of the tribe live in fear of losing their jobs under this regime. The paycheck has become "hush money" for current employees since you cannot speak up without fear of losing your income. Someone spoke up at the Restoration Pow Wow; he is no longer employed. He tried to speak at the General Membership meeting. They made him go last and then silenced him, saying it needed to be heard in executive session. They did not let him on the next agenda. Only time will tell if he will get to be heard.

A pending lawsuit from a former CEO states some similar claims and worse. I encourage you to read it in the file attachments. This is the latest document appealing the original decision in tribal court earlier this year. Previous entries from this case are available on this site as well. This current council is leading us down a different trail of tears. This time, our government is shoving us aside and not hearing our cries! They are the harm we must now protect ourselves from.
