The Current Election Year is Bound to be Challenged with the Current Election Board in Charge.

The Video below is from the meeting during Pow Wow weekend at the Niobrara Office building. Two Candidates came forward with complaints of the Election Board's negligence asking for the negligent Election Board members to be removed byTribal Council. Those members are still on the Election Board currently. Alex Taylor who has had many years on Tribal Council, did not show understanding of the certification process in this video clip. Falon McAlpin proved resourceful in addressing some of the concerns. Her looking into the Ponca member's missing gift card and name being off of all lists but the voter registration list, resulted in Stacy being removed from the voter registration list too. Stacy soon after found her name added to the inactive list as well. This was the opposite desired outcome. This is not likely the fault of Fallon McAlpin, but a clear illustration of the issues behind the scenes.

The issue remains that the inactive/active members list is harmful more than helpful to members on that list. The records are wrong. There are speculations that the inactive/active list exists to steal elections. Retaliation is real according to many sources, despite the current Councilwoman dismissing the concerns of a Ponca member at the end of this video clip. She tells Stacy that her complaint of retaliation is "unrealistic." Stacy never recieved a gift card for the grocery store. She also missed out on recent gift cards sent to adults in households in District 2. Is this further retaliation? If not, the records are not reliable. Either way there is a problem.
